The trust of our users is of the utmost importance to us, and Dosell AB takes responsibility for protecting your privacy. If you do not agree with our handling of personal data, in accordance with this privacy policy or our other terms, we ask you to refrain from using the Services.

  1. Key Concepts

Personal data is information that can be directly or indirectly linked to a living individual. Examples of personal data include name, address, phone number, and email address. Under certain circumstances, information such as IP numbers and your behavior when using the Services may also constitute personal data.

Processing of personal data includes all handling of personal data, such as collection, registration, and storage.

The data controller is the one who, alone or jointly with others, determines the purposes and means of the processing of personal data and who is ultimately responsible for ensuring that the processing complies with applicable data protection legislation.

  1. Data We Collect

We collect information about you directly and indirectly when you purchase a service/product and when you use our services. To provide a clear picture of how personal data processing takes place, we have divided the personal data into two categories based on how it is collected:

A) Personal data that you provide to us

When you order or purchase a service/product, you provide information about yourself, such as name, address, phone number, and email address, as well as the content of messages. Personal data in this category is characterized by your active provision of information to us, such as by filling in web forms created for that purpose.

B) Personal data collected when you use the Services

When you use the Services, we record information about your usage. This information includes the Services you use, the pages you visit, and how you behave on the website. The information can be divided into the following subcategories:

Technical information about your device

Through server logs and other tools, we record information about the device you use for the Services. This information may include operating systems, browser versions, IP addresses, cookies, and unique identification files.

C) Information about how you use the services; user behavior

When you visit, this activity is automatically logged in our data logs. This information may include how you scroll and navigate on a website.

D) Location information

When you visit, we estimate your approximate geographical position based on the IP address you are using. If you have accepted location services on your phone/tablet, we will continuously collect more detailed information about your geographical position. The data is used to provide you with location-adapted information and marketing. If you no longer want us to collect detailed information about your geographical position, you can turn off location services on your phone/tablet at any time. In such cases, we will only estimate an approximate geographical location based on your IP address.

Cookies are used for certain functions that improve our web pages for the user or provide us with statistics about the use of the website. We do not save personal information via cookies. The statistics cannot be linked to you as a person. Information about the visitor cannot be traced by Dosell AB via cookies. A cookie cannot start a program.

Different types of cookies

Dosell AB uses three types of cookies. The first type saves a file permanently on the visitor’s computer, a so-called permanent cookie. It stores previous visits to the website and which browser is used. This cookie improves the performance of the website, e.g., by only fetching the latest updates.

The second type of cookie is called a session cookie. It is saved temporarily on your computer and is used, among other things, to keep track of settings during the visit to a website. Session cookies disappear when you close your browser.

The third type is a statistical cookie set to let us know how many visitors the websites have.

Purposes of using cookies

Enable the system to recognize recurring users to customize services.

Calculate and report user numbers and traffic.

Develop and improve the website by understanding how it is used.

Accept or refuse cookies

Each visitor can decide for themselves whether they want to accept cookies or not. Most browsers automatically accept cookies, but settings can be changed to either not accept them or give the visitor a choice of whether to accept them or not.

  1. Marketing

If we believe it may be in your interest to see certain advertising from us, we reserve the right to advertise to our visitors on channels such as Facebook, Instagram, Google, YouTube, and similar advertising networks. This is done, among other things, through remarketing based on what you have shown interest in on the website. We do this to offer all our users an additional added value. We do not find out who the user is – since remarketing is based on a cookie or pixel used by Facebook or Google where the information is hash-stored and encrypted.
